The Department of Economics of the University of Macedonia organizes the 2nd International Conference in Applied Theory, Macro and Empirical Finance (AMEF), which will be held at the Department of Economics, University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece. The aim is to bring together researchers, young scholars, post-doctoral researchers and PhD students that are working on the areas of Economics and Finance. Selected papers will be included in special issues of (1) Credit and Capital Markets, (2) Review of Economic Analysis, (3) Economics and Business Letters and (4) South-Eastern Europe Journal of Economics. The registration fee is 150 Euros for presenters and 100 Euros for attendants. The fee includes all coffee breaks, two lunches and the conference material.

SUBMISSION DETAILSAn extended abstract (300-500 words) in English should be submitted no later than January 31, 2016 in pdf format by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. All abstracts should include the title, keywords, JEL classification, authors’ names, affiliation and an email address. For any further information, please contact email@example.com.
REGISTRATION DETAILSAll payments must be made by a bank account deposit by Febuary 22. Please mention AMEF and your name when making the deposit. The transfer payment details will be sent to you via email, upon paper acceptance. In case you will not receive an email, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The 1st International Conference in Applied Theory, Macro and Empirical Finance (AMEF2015), held at the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece, 6-7 April 2015, was successfully completed with more than 70 participants. The distinguished Keynote Speakers of AMEF2015 were Professor Stephen G. Hall, University of Leicester, UK, and Professor Elias Tzavalis, AUEB, Greece.
